Description

The rocket stove is more than just a cooking tool; it’s a compact powerhouse designed to handle all your outdoor cooking needs.  Its innovative design features a detachable stove top, allowing you to easily switch between a wok, braai, or a potjie stand in seconds. The feeder chimney makes adding wood a breeze, while the breather vent ensures optimal airflow to minimise wood use and get that fire blazing without any fuss. The metal grid on the stovehead lifts to access the stove’s heart and can be used to add coal or cook directly on the stove top, and the ashtray at the back makes for easy cleaning. The best part? It’s built for portability!, which means you can pack it up and take it with you to your next braai or camping adventure. It’s not just functional – it’s portable and built for convenience. Perfect for outdoor cooking, the stove’s durable construction ensures you’ll enjoy years of use with easy maintenance, allowing you to spend less time cleaning and more time cooking. Whether you’re having a braai, a stirfry in a wok, or a potjie, the rocket stove has you covered

How to Use:

  1. Set Up: Place the rocket stove on a flat surface (preferably outdoors). Insert the detachable legs and position the stove top or potjie stand, depending on your cooking needs.
  2. Ignition: Use the breather vent to control airflow while you ignite your fire. Place wood or another fuel medium into the feeder vent (Consider a teabag soaked in paraffin instead of a firelighter).
  3. Cooking: Place your potjie, wok, or grill on the stove. Adjust the heat as needed by opening or closing the breather vent for optimal temperature control.
  4. Maintenance: After cooking, let the stove cool. Empty the ashtray and wipe it down for the next use. Easy to clean and designed to last, it’s built for the long haul.

Dimensions:

  • Weight: 32.10kg
  • Height (base without legs to top without stovehead): 500mm
  • Plate Grid Thickness: 3mm
  • Leg Thickness: 3mm
  • Feeder Chimney: 300mm

Rocket Stove Tips:

  • The feeder chimney works best when dry wood is used. Wet or damp wood will make it harder to light the stove.
  • The breather vent is key! Use it to control airflow – the more open it is, the hotter the fire and more wood it will use.
  • For grilling, you can insert a steel cage inside the stovehead and place in coals to create the perfect flaming hot stove.
  • Use a firestarter such as a dried teabag soaked in a paraffin mix for quicker ignition.

When you’re finished cooking, make sure to clean the ashtray and wipe down the stove. Keep stored undercover for better long-term maintenance.
